Embrace the spirit of the great outdoors this school holiday with a delightful blend of marshmallow roasting and damper making on a stick. Gather 'round the fire with friends and family as we ignite imaginations and toast memories that will last a lifetime. 

Please note, this experience  is weather and wind dependent, ensuring your safety and enjoyment. While we always hope for clear skies and low winds, in the event of unfavorable weather conditions, the experience will be changed to suit.

Note: Please secure a ticket for all children attending; babies under the age of 6 months are free of charge. Children of all ages are welcome.

FAQs for Friday Afternoon Fires: 

Q: What should I bring to Fire Fridays?

A: To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, we recommend bringing suncreen, hat, water bottle, enclosed shoes, and a towel.

Q: Are there any clothing recommendations?

A: Yes, we advise avoiding loose-fitting clothing and ensuring that long hair is tied back. We ask for enclosed shoes inside the yarning circle, however this is at parent discretion. 

Q: Can I drop my child off and leave them unattended during Fire Fridays?

A: No. For the safety and well-being of all participants, we kindly ask that parents or guardians remain present throughout the duration of the session.

Q: What if I forget to bring something?

A: Don't worry! We'll have some basic supplies available, but it's always best to come prepared for the ultimate experience.

Q: Will there be restroom facilities available?A: Yes, we have a permanent portable toilet onsite for your convenience.

Q: Can I bring my own marshmallows or other damper ingredients?

A: Absolutely! Feel free to bring your favorite marshmallows or damper ingredients to personalise your experience even more.

Q: How will you start the fire?A: We'll be using flint and steel to start the fire, adding a touch of adventure and authenticity to your experience.

Q: What happens if the weather is bad?

A: In the event of unfavorable weather conditions, the experience will be adapted to ensure your safety and enjoyment. Rest assured, the adventure will continue rain or shine!

Q: Can I use my NDIS funding to attend Fire Fridays?

A: Yes, depending on your child's individual goals outlined in their NDIS plan, it may be possible to use NDIS funding to participate in Friday Afternoon Fires. Our program offers unique opportunities for skill development, social interaction, and recreational enjoyment, aligning with many NDIS goals. 

We recommend discussing your child's specific goals and needs with our crew or your NDIS provider to determine if these sessions are a suitable use of funding. If you have any questions or need assistance in this process, please feel free to reach out to us. We're here to support you in making the most of your child's NDIS funding. 

If you plan to book using NDIS funding through a plan manager, please note that additional administrative fees may apply for manual invoicing.
